“Overall, the hotel's environment and facilities and staff are good, but two things make me uneasy. Firstly, the bed is wrinkled, which gives the impression that someone has slept on it before, although the quilt looks new. Secondly, the bottom of the swimming pool appears dirty, making it impossible to determine whether the water is clean or dirty.”

“My husband and I stayed at this property for a night while driving across Colorado for vacation. South Fork, Colorado is a great town in the middle of the mountains! We enjoyed our stay at the Spruce Lodge. The room we stayed in looked like it was remodeled, yet it still had an old-school charm :) We could see the mountains from our door and smell the pine when we opened it. While there is no complimentary breakfast here, there are great food options in the area. Local eateries were within……

“Well Taylor River Lodge is just absolutely amazing. Everything we needed for the perfect active persons getaway: Biking, Hiking, Fly fishing, rafting, bird watching, meals provided, itinerary and activity transportation arranged by staff, fabulous guides and wonderful staff catering to ones every need including provided meals, spa services and a swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, dry sauna and yard games, not to mention the wonderful river side cabins which where delightful to fall asleep in. ……

“We are so glad we stayed here. These two units open up to each other, and although there isn't a full kitchen like a condo would have, there is a nice kitchenette. Staying up on the mountain was great because we really enjoyed the amenities up there and especially Jose's outdoor bar right at the bottom of the slopes. Had we stayed in town, we may not have enjoyed the mountain as much, yet by driving into town, we were able to enjoy the town as much as we desired. So, for us this was the perfect……
