“Lovely location with great views. Plenty of parking. Only thing to watch is the entrance is on a bend so do use the mirror across the road when exiting. Food was excellent. They went to a lot of trouble to cater for my wife's food allergies, which was much appreciated. Staff were all very friendly and helpfull. Highly recommended. ”

“Die Lage ist traumhaft. Allerdings gibt es zu wenige Plätze, um im Freien zu essen und die tolle Aussicht zu genießen. Die Küche ist sehr gut und abwechslungsreich, leider war aber besonders zum Frühstück permanent etwas aus (Eier, Pfannkuchen). Die Zimmer sind neu, schlicht aber geschmackvoll renoviert. Die Zimmermädchen dürten besonders dem Boden etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit schenken. Das Angebot an (Sport-)Events war unaufdringlich und ausgewogen. ”

“The staff at the reception was exceptionally nice and helpful and the location was excellent. However there were a few flaws in the room: no proper hot water, no indication of internal phone numbers (we had to go down to the reception to get wi-fi password and coffee/tea) and the room was a bit dated (toilette included).”

“The hotel is nice enough, and it’s in a good location, but our stay was utterly ruined by dreadful customer service, specifically by the owner’s daughter, which was a real shame. She was extremely confrontational and aggressive when I (very politely) raised an issue with her, which she had directly caused the previous day, and when I told her it had impacted my whole day, her answer was “well I had a bad day too, because of this incident, so we are the same!” There was no hint of apology or……
