“Excellent youth hostel ”

“Great stay, quiet time of year but the hostel was very comfortable, clean, friendly, and relaxed. I had a private double room which was perfect for travelling with a pet. Kitchen access was really handy as Braemar and the surrounding area doesn't have much in the way of options for eating during the week in the off season.”

“Staff were friendly and helpful, location handy and beautiful, with red squirrels nearby and nesting house martins. My only suggestion would be that - as we should be reducing meat and dairy consumption for environmental reasons - vegetarian breakfast should be the norm.”

“Close to train station; easy check in; matress wasn't very comfortable (quite hard).”

“Set on the coast near a small bay, with own parking area. Large modern communal kitchen and dining area, well equipped for self catering , clean and smart facility with separate sitting room. Ideal for singles or families as a base for a restful break. Disabled shower requires hooks to hang towel and clothes. ”
