“Great situation for the shops just a 5/10 minute walk away. Parking at the hotel is good. Rooms spacious and comfortable and clean the only thing that is a let down is the bathroom it’s a bit outdated found the shower slippy and no where to put your shower gel and shampoo. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice and full cooked breakfast is very good and hot. Didn’t have dinner was not keen on the menu but it might be good for others but not me. Staff are very nice and friendly. Very……

“Chapel of Barras is a great place to stay! The room was spacious with a huge closet and an en suite bathroom. Breakfast was a huge Scottish breakfast with haggis, black pudding, bacon, sausage, tomatoes and mushrooms, plus fried eggs and toast! Also, coffee, juice, scones, and some other stuff too - very filling! The hosts are very friendly and helpful with lots of knowledge of the area. Location is great - out in the countryside, nice and quiet, but not too far from towns and the seaside.”

“This is a lovely bed and breakfast! The host Mary is so sweet and takes such care of the property and her guests. Would definitely recommend this place. ”

“The host was very hospitable. There was a living room/dinning room area for guest to use, complete with a small fridge to keep food. There was a well functioning TV in the bedroom as well as one in the common space. The beach was walking distance and if you like soccer they have a league very close to catch a game. The beach is beautiful and there are lots of restaurants and shops along the waterfront. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back to visit here again.”

“Such a brilliant find! Wonderful hosts, comfy bed, amazing house, HUGE breakfast selection and quiet location. We were only passing through for one night, but we will be back! Not a single negative from us, but be aware that Disblair House is in the country and not walking distance to town. ”
