“The lodge was beautiful and clean inside. It felt like a home away from home ”

“Lovely peaceful stay at the Wee Snug, really spacious and loved being able to rotate the TV to watch TV in bed and relax! Games were so fun, shower is really powerful. One thing - bed is very soft FYI! Also, we struggled with getting any sort of taxi booking in the evening so I would advise booking ahead of time if you plan to venture to nearby villages etc. and want a couple drinks - we ended up just driving to places and getting takeaway and coming back to have some drinks with dinner instead.……

“Nothing but positive things to say about Sweet Donside Cabins. Cabins and facilities were spotlessly clean, TV beds very spacious and comfortable, with the attention to detail excellent. Hot tubs were clean and well maintained. Lots of extra touches including a welcome basket.”

“We enjoyed our trip and loved the accommodation. Our daughter had great fun out on the decking and we enjoyed the sunshine late into the evening. Perfect location for exploring the surrounding area and great communication with the host providing detailed directions to locate the property. Will defo look to book again!”

The only thing we would add is take some DVD’s as with no wi-if there is no streaming service available. The hot tub was amazing and it was lovely to lie in and watch the wildlife. “A lovely, well appointed home with comfy beds and plenty of towels etc. Seating was a bit uncomfortable in some rooms, and the heating was a challenge at first. That being said, the owners were readily available and answered all questions. I feel it would be a good idea to have instructions somewhere in the house regarding certain things to make it easier, not only on people renting, but for the owners as well. We did enjoy our time there, it's a lovely area.”
