“This was a very nice and clean property. Communication with the owner was easy and they were very responsive. The area is nice and quiet, with a few restaurants and distilleries, all within walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and could see ourselves using this location the next time we decide to visit. ”

“Ein kleines Häuschen, bei dem sich kängere Menschen gewiss das eine oder andere Mal den Kopf an der Treppe anstoßen in einem winzigen Örtchen. Bei frischen Außentemperaturen zwischen 3 und 12 C mussten wir uns mit dem Kaminofen viel Mühe geben, hatten es dann aber sehr gemütlich und den Blick vom Sofa und vom Bett direkt auf die See sehr genossen. Costal Cupy ( eine Kaffeebude mit selbstgebackenen Kuchen) und der Pennan Inn waren sehr lecker. Spaziergänge an der zerklüfteten Küste haben uns viel……

“This was our second time at Balnagowan Cottage. Last trip was Easter 2022. The house is excellent for families with the space inside and the garden. There are a couple of ‘tired bits’ of soft furnishings that could benefit from updating… bedding and duvets as these have been the same for the 2 years, and the majority of the blind cords are knotted and don t work. Additionally the plugs in the bath and downstairs shower room sink don t work. The overall cleanliness could be better in relation to……

“I cannot tell you how much my wife and I enjoyed the Littleton cottage, Ballater and the entire area. The cottage is perfectly located…easy trip into town for supplies or a lovely coffee at The BothyBallater, and yet the cottage is quiet and peaceful. We had a lovely visit with the neighbor’s sheep and saw some cute, just born lambs. The deer and pheasants made the stay that much better. Can’t wait to plan a trip back!”

“This simple, cosy cabin was great for a family holiday with 4 generations. The ramp, grab rails in the bathroom and one level living helped the elderly and the cot, high chair and laundry room worked for the baby. The cabin was clean, warm, welcoming and functional. We enjoyed the sunny deck and the daffodils. ”
