“Hotel situated in a stunning location. Anyone looking to relax can certainly make themselves at home. Relaxed atmosphere and comfortable bed. No tv however they are trying to promote an atmosphere that does not need a tv. Not that there's much on it anyway. Also with free, fast wi-fi you can still use your phone/tablet if you need to watch something etc. Meals very nice, Steak was tasty and Haddock was in a Golden beer batter and was lovely. “A beautiful hotel with grand high ceilings and an eccentric historical townhouse charm. Perfectly located right on the shore of Loch Maree, with private lake access. Our room was peaceful and quiet, offering breathtaking views of the lake. The host was exceptionally friendly, warm and accommodating, adding a welcoming atmosphere to both the hotel and its cosy bar. He went out of his way to meet our requests, making us feel truly cared for. Easily our best experience on the NC500. ”

“Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. ”
