“Our stay at Fountain View II could not have been better! Not kidding when they say close to everything, downtown was a block away, we walked through town, to great restaurants (Wellsboro House, The Steak House, Wellsboro Diner, the Creamery,) all amazing! The show (Running on Jackson - a tribute band to Jackson Browne) we were fortunate to see at the Deane Performing arts Center was outstanding! Fountain View II is exactly how it is pictured, very clean. The only thing we missed was a toaster……

“Stay was great. The one issue that I had was with parking. If you’re not careful about when/where you park during weekday business hours then it could add a lot of additional expenses. Fortunately, I was familiar with the area, but if someone forgets to pay for parking or leaves a vehicle somewhere to long then it will get them a parking ticket very quickly.”

“Went during a very cold time in upstate NY.Entered the residence and there was no heat. It was 58 degrees...if the old thermostat was correct.Communicated with host ,waited an hour with our coats on. They did get someone out and it was supposedly fixed....but we had already left, after waiting an hour, for a local hotel. Here is why...1) just looking at the original thermostat to the older home made us not so confident that we would continue to have heat all night. 2) there were 2 window air……

“This property was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Watkins Glen. The cabin was in an excellent location, close to town for dining and shopping, we enjoyed our stay , everything is provided for you and is spacious and clean. We will most likely come back when weather allows for more seasonal activities like hiking, camping and boating. Access to trails was very limited due to icy conditions but the frozen waterfalls provided some beautiful photos , looking forward to……
