“My husband and I (and our pup) enjoyed our stay here! While the weather did not cooperate as we hoped for a weekend of hiking, the cabin was very cozy and we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and spices for cooking. I'd definitely recommend visiting when it's warmer to take advantage of the fantastic wrap around porch and firepit!”

“The location couldn’t be any better. The river is so close and so nice to listen to. Beds were comfortable which is surprising for most rentals. Would love to come back in the summertime and take advantage of the river with swimming and fishing. If I had to pick anything to complain about, I could only say 2 things. 1 the house is kinda small on the inside. There are some tight spaces. Nothing wrong with that, but the kitchen gets really tight if too many people are in there at once. 2 the fire……

“Sam was a wonderful host for our three generation family visit to Charlottesville. He was responsive and helpful, and made sure our trip was a success.
