“Even though the hotel is located downtown, it was amazingly quiet at night. We slept well. The bed was the most comfortable of the trip. Super nice people, convenient, and close to many great restaurants. I would go back there in a heartbeat. Thanks. ”

“I wish we would have planned more time here vs at the coast. Cohune Palms was the highlight of our Belize trip. This place was paradise!! We were reluctant at first due to no a/c but the weather cooled off at night and was perfect. Fans during the day kept everything enjoyable. The river next to the resort was beautiful and a blast to swim in and enjoy the rope swing. We have 50x the mosquitos here in California…with a little bug spray you barely even notice them there. “Rolson provided a great base for our travel in the San Ignacio area. The downtown is not too far but not really an easy walk away so you’ll need transportation like a taxi or car. The rooms are well priced and tour guides know it’s location so can accommodate direct hotel transfers. Very handy having a restaurant and bar and pool to dip into after hot day touring! ”

“The property is beautiful, view has to be the best in San Ignacio and staff were great. We reserved a cabana which was spacious and secluded. The cabanas do have a palapa top, letting in a small amount of mosquitos, debris and noise if you have extra loud neighbors. I would recommend walking/taking a taxi into town for most meals, but we had one breakfast and two dinners at the resort, out of convivence, which did not disappoint. Would 100% recommend and visit again. ”

“It is loca tired right on the heart of San Ignacio so very convenient , rooms are very descent… staff on arrival wasn’t very helpful we asked the guy about tours and he was talking on the phone barely greeted us and said would have to ask about that and let know later …”

“The guesthouse is located in an 80 year old historic building that is on the side of town where locals live and shop. It's a short walk from the bus terminal, San Ignacio market, Cahal Pech, Green Iguana Conservation, and other touristic sites. Max is a great host who sent us a lot of local recommendations from sightseeing places to restaurants. He also gave us recommendations on places we can go on our own, ones we needed a guide and local events that we can attend to better understand the……

“De algehele ruimte is prima, het matras en de hoofdkussens waren goed. Een plafondventilator en een staande ventilator aanwezig en voldoende. Geen airco. Het sanitair voldoende maar goedkoop, alles afgewerkt met heel dun plastic (douchecabine, wc bril). Service is goed. Waar je rekening mee moet houden is de geluidsoverlast. Honden, verkeer, eigen verhuur van auto's en luid piepende en krakende tussendeuren. De 4 kamers liggen dicht tegen elkaar aan en direct langs de weg en het eigen……
