“This place is a hidden gem, we sprung for the villa and it was well worth it. Missing this place as we’re in San Pedro, very new with all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. Villa Massis brings the amenities to the jungle, we loved seeing monkeys on the property. The staff and food were excellent, resort offers a very intimate dining experience. “Absolutely perfect stay. We had the 2 bedroom villa which was gigantic. It comes with a well equipped kitchen and a back terrace that is perfect for breakfast sojourns before getting into the heat of San Ignacio. There is a pool here too, albeit small. The staff are particularly great, and everyone is super polite and helpful. You will need a car to get here, and it’d make sense to rent one anyway as you have to drive in Belize. “Rolson provided a great base for our travel in the San Ignacio area. The downtown is not too far but not really an easy walk away so you’ll need transportation like a taxi or car. The rooms are well priced and tour guides know it’s location so can accommodate direct hotel transfers. Very handy having a restaurant and bar and pool to dip into after hot day touring! ”
