“My husband and I along with our newborn recently stayed at chads place. We stayed for two nights and had an amaziing time spending a few days away from home. The cottage had everything you would need and more. Perfect location to downtown Bedford and Shawnee state park. My husband and I loved fishing right on the property and relaxing at the campfire at night! We can’t wait to plan our next trip and be able to utilize the bikes and kayaks! “This place is lovely. The owners are very considerate. I have stayed at alot of places and this one was very peaceful. In the morning enjoy coffee, hot cocoa, or tea on the porch and watch the fog roll off the water. It is about 10 mins from Bedford and that little town has alot to offer. “Our stay in this delightful Shoehouse 14-!6 July 2025 was certainly a memorable relaxing treat. You have certainly thought of and met our every need. Beds comfortable, ac adjustable, linens plentiful---even make-up removable cloths. Loved the former ice cream parlor downstairs area (where I had enjoyed previously) as we played board games with tea and Keurig coffees and the convenience of yet another bathroom there. We are fond of shopping nearby in Intercourse and Bird in Hand, PA and truly……
