“We had an amazing stay, obridado!”

“Our stay was in an older, 2-storey motel-type building surrounded by villas. All suites in our building faced the ocean, and the beach boardwalk was a few steps away. Our suite had a kitchenette and was large with stunning, direct views of the ocean and nearby rocks from the large balcony. Enjoyed it immensely. Difficult to find as it is in Alvor, not Portimao proper, and there are numerous Pestana facilities in the vicinity. The grounds are under construction and parts of the complex are a bit……

“Superbe hotel moderne très bien tenu. Bien situé pour découvrir l'Algarve. Le personnel est souriant et accueillant. La chambre/studio est spacieuse avec un grand balcon, la literie est correcte. Le ménage est effectué tous les matins. La nourriture des restaurants est de qualité et variée. Points négatifs : durant notre séjour, les jours de la semaine un seul restaurant ouvert au lieu de deux le weekend, beaucoup trop de bruit. Est-il nécessaire de mettre de la musique ? “Nice holiday for families, but a couple can also enjoy it. Food was decent. Buffet was ok and varied options, but the restaurants were definitely better. One of the restaurants wasn't open during our trip which was disappointing. There were some even shows but unfortunately didn't catch any. Like the free drinks and lots of areas to get them throughout the property.”

“Brilliant attentive staff ,always smiling and happy to help. Animation team worked well even though it was quiet and didn't press you to take part. Pleasant evening entertainment. Very clean and tidy, comfortable room. Food basic but always find something nice to eat .”

“Wonderful time at Editory by the Sea. Within walking distance to old Lagos. Two main beaches within a ten minute walk. It’s a beautiful resort style place with an outdoor and indoor pool. It is brand new, so there is some things they are working through. Staff were wonderful and all spoke English. The included breakfast was great, large buffet. They have a bar outside that serves food during the day. At night they have a set meal at the restaurant you can purchase. Close out the night with a……
