“We loved our stay at this cottage! It was perfect for us. The adirondak chairs facing the bay were our go to in the morning and again at night. We watched ships and heron and osprey and enjoyed the breeze. We have a hectic life at home and had come across the country for a quick family event. The cottage was our haven. We love the view from almost every window. We didnt cook meals there, so the mini fridge was not a problem. The property was comfortable and very clean and had all that we needed.……

“10 family members from age 88 to 10 years old. It’s our 2nd visit and we’ve not been to any place more welcoming and peaceful. The location is just heaven and the docks and water views are just unbelievably gorgeous. It’s going to be an annual trip for our family.”

“This interestingly titled listing is certainly an affordable home option (surprised to see it on Hotels.com - property is maintained by Evolve and it is nowhere mentioned in the listing), conveniently located in the city. However, it is not recommended and not suitable for business trips. I stayed here with two colleagues during a recent business trip. The home itself is spacious, with a large living area, a patio, a nice pool table, and plenty of open parking. That said, we encountered two……

“The cottage was everything we’d hope for and more. And anything else you might want is right there - restaurants, a bakery (get a snickerdoodle!), shops and an excellent grocery store. We’ll be back sooner than later.”

“Rock Creek Cottage was very clean, spacious, and attractively decorated, and everything we needed was supplied. The outdoor space was very peaceful and quiet--just as pictured. Colin was helpful and responded promptly to messages. We definitely recommend this cottage!”
