“Everything was clean and in great condition, except for the spiderwebs on the back patio, which they forgot to clean, I was able to get rid of these no problem with the broom that was provided. There is no dining table inside, so one must brave the outdoors to eat on the gorgeous covered front patio. In addition, there are no spices or oils, so be sure to bring your own condiments, and the cooking supplies are minimal: one frying pan, one sauce, pan, one batch. However, the host is more than……

“We stayed here while in Huntsville for a wedding (At the Shire) and it was perfect for kids. The main attraction of this property is the large amount of land and space for kids to roam. The owners installed a zip line, a large trampoline, and lots of animals roam like ponies, chickens, and rabbits. We are from Austin so it was a treat for our kids to have so much open outdoor space! My children are all adults and we have stayed at some doozeies, but every now and then we find a hidden Gem. The Hat House is definitely just that. The fact that it is shaped like a hat barely touches the magic of this place. If a house that lived in my mind could come to fruition, this would be it.
