“A great quiet location of the beaten track. Rooms clean and comfortable and the food was fantastic! Stayed here for 3x night for a business trip. Definitely will return if I am in the area again. Surrounded by fields, as an option, I took a walk along one of the fields adjacent to the hotel.”

“A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. My husband is a severe asthmatic and is allergic to feathers. When we realised that the pillows and duvet were feather and spoke to the housekeeping staff, they went out of their way to help us. They changed all the bedding and ensured that there were no feathers in the room. Special thanks should go to Suzanne and the blond lady who organised this for us. “A nice hotel that is sensibly priced. Perfect for short stays when in the Grimsby area. The restaurant is good and the breakfast is verging towards excellent, but could be improved by the addition of smoked haddock with poached eggs, as well as kippers, to the menu. ”

“We had a large room with sofa and a huge bathroom. We overlooked the garden and were above the patio. It was quite noisy with people chatting outside and smokers. Food was good. Staff friendly. It was Bank holiday and there was a wedding party staying there. Breakfast was chaos the poor staff couldn't keep up with demand. The management should have put extra staff on duty. Commendation to Phillis who kept her cool and had a friendly attitude.”

“Our trip was very nice. It was easy to book in, staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. We struggled with the heat in our room, it was a warm day and the window did not open, nor was there air-con. However we did find a fan in the cupboard which worked to cool the room down. The facilities in the room were okay, and the bed we dtayed in was extremely comfy. All in all a very pleasant stay. ”

“We could’nt get access into the property and couldn’t get hold of the managing agent, spent 2 hrs trying to get in, gave up and the whole area was fully booked. Absolute nightmare. The check in instructions were to download an app and then there were no details like property number, none of the key boxes were responsive. Contacted Expedia and spent a further 2 hrs on the phone to them and they also could not get in touch with the managing agent. The building had poor lighting outside and was……
