“This is a perfect hotel. Everything is perfect. Loved the decor, staff, food melts in your mouth. And the housekeepers are amazing, in particular as most of the walks you will take in the area leave you covered in mud. I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything is impeccable.”

“Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. Went to the Spa next morning, only to find out the Spa was closed the whole day due to "maintenance"! Complained to the front desk when checked-out, and the lady said "well,……

“Really lovely place in beautiful location. Room was fabulous, very clean and comfortable. Was very quiet too and got an excellent nights sleep.The bar was great for a late night drink before bed, staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent ( cooked options not included in price) the only negative was there was no gluten free option. Would definitely stay again.”

“It was all wonderful right from the check-in, the staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a well lit and very tastefully decorated and sizeable room, with comfortable beds, two small armchairs and a coffee table. The bathroom was well appointed with a bath and a large shower head. “A real find - clean room with plenty of space and a nice view of the gardens. The food was a real highlight - if i lived locally i would make a point of going there for a meal regularly. Breakfasts were fine - standard hotel stuff. All staff very friendly and helpful. ”
