“The staff was so welcoming - with refreshments that were homemade. The service and help were outstanding. The property was clean and very well equipped. “Schönes, authentisches und grosszügiges Zimmer. Sehr nette Vermieterin. Uns wurde Wein, Wasser und Cola offeriert. Wir hatten sogar direkten Meerblick. Die Unterkunft liegt im unteren Bereich der Burg und liegt keine 3 Minuten vom Meer entfernt.”

“Accueil très sympathique, chambre très confortable pour 4, fin Octobre nous étions seuls dans l'hôtel. Petit déj délicieux (confiture d'orange excellente), on s'est fait gâté, merci pour cet accueil par des hôtes aussi chaleureux. “5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options.……

“Lovely resort with excellent facilities. Great breakfast, large pool and right on the beach. Only minor negative was the mattress was hard. You do need to drive in to the town, it was a bit far to walk.”
