“Location was exceptional right near the pyramids with fabulous views. Room was a good size and was clean. Minor maintenance required (glue holding the bed head, touch up painting). Breakfast was a little strange with salad. Hotel has great potential and would stay again.”

“This is a clean, friendly, convenient place that's small but fantastic. GREAT value for the space and services. The staff members are young, friendly, and fluent in English. American University and downtown (Nile and many sightseeing attractions) nearby. Breakfast is made-to-order, not an impersonal "continental" layout. Lots of shopping, nightlife, and Metro within walking distance. The only caveat I would offer is that the tile of the floor of the shower is very slippery. I pointed this out……

“Very happy with the accommodation. We stayed two nights and received fantastic service. The service was excellent, and one of the receptionists surprised us by speaking Spanish. He was very helpful. We needed a breakfast box one day, and there was no problem. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Recommended for a few days in Cairo or Giza near the pyramids. The best part was the terrace and the views.”

“Our stays in Mena House was peaceful and fantastic. The room is clean, viewing the Giza Pyramids, cool pool, quality services, etc. The room decoration is not great but so far it is clean and tidy. The balcony is nice facing the Giza Pyramids; the breakfast with various choice of food was great too. If I would need to give a recommendation to the hotel, some staff are not very helpful and just giving standard quality of services and the food quality in the restaurants for lunch and dinner is……

“Excellent staff and newly renovated. Everything was good. Only comment is the hotel on the second floor, but, no sign on the ground floor. Front entrance need to post the name of the hotel.”

The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and everything felt fresh and clean. The food was also delicious and hygienic, with a good variety to choose from. “The room is spacious and clean. The host is friendly. The hotel is located in the heart of Old Cairo which is very convenient for visitors (a 10-minute walk to the old Egyptian museum and Abou Tarek). Nothing more I could ask for with such a reasonable price. ”
