“The pool/beach area was amazing! The poolside service was awesome. My only concern was me a senior and friend staying with me a senior were assigned a 4 th floor room with no elevator. It took almost an hour to find a space that had an elevator. Jared the security guy was so helpful. Then for check out the system evidently had an issue and tried to charge me for what I had paid for on Expedia. Loved the resort not the service or convenience ”
“The cottage was clean and updated with everything you need, toiletries, kitchen pans and utensils, a full beach cart with everything needed for the beach. I took a few naps in the sun in the hammock. The location is great, an easy block to the beach. The only thing we had difficulty with was the gas grill did not heat up sufficiently to cook burgers. It was an incredible relaxing place for a family vacation, highly recommend it”
“I absolutely love what they’ve done with this place. I’ve been staying at this hotel for years, back when it was owned by other companies, and it has always felt safe and quiet. If you asked younger me, I’d say the food and bar used to be better, but I wouldn’t trade that for the massive upgrade they’ve done to the rooms.
I can be a bit of a hotel snob, and this property impressed me. Everything felt spotless—no stray hairs, no lingering smells, none of that “Orlando Water Park Resort” scent I……

“The Pink Shell was an amazing property. The staff were so helpful and fun! The villa we stayed in was so clean and had everything we needed and more. I didn't realize they had washer/dryers, dishwashers, stoves etc in them. I also loved the adult only pool. The family friendly pool stayed very active and we preferred to hang out with our drinks and relax. Fort Myers Beach is still in repair after the hurricane last year. That was the only thing that I could see that would make me give it 4……
“I absolutely loved everything about this property! It had everything I needed, including a washer and dryer in the room….which is essential when it’s brutally hot outside and you go through every outfit you brought. The staff were great and so friendly. The elevator wasn’t working but I didn’t let it ruin my vacation. I will definitely stay again when back in the area ”
“This hotel was great. The food and drinks were very good. The pool was nice. There were plenty of lounge chairs. My only complaint was that you had to pay additional fees- $56 daily- to sit on the beach with an umbrella. ”
“We stayed in the "condo like" room by the pool. It had a full kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom. The furniture was very comfortable, and the room was clean. It was a little warm when we arrived, but cooled off quickly. There is an ac unit in the bedroom as well as the living area. There was a dehumidifier provided that kept the room extra comfortable. We opted to not have room service during our four day stay, so we had the empty the dehumidifier ourselves. There was never too much……
