“Tarpon Tale Inn is a hidden treasure! If you want a quiet getaway on Sanibel Island with quick access to the beach, a private patio and grill, access to bicycles, an outdoor hot/cold shower, a shell washing station, and beach chairs/umbrella/wagon - this is it! The owner, Joe, has an eye for detail and it shows throughout your stay. I wanted a beach experience and that’s exactly what I got at Tarpon Tale Inn. Other than to explore (Blind Pass, Bowman Beach, Turner Beach and Captiva) the island……

“Enjoyed our stay. Perfect sized cottage for the two of us. Wish the bathroom had a shelf for cosmetic bags and dop kits, but we managed. Liked the beach access and parking pass even though it was a long walk from the parking lot to the beach. Communication with the owners was very was good. No dishwasher, no laundry facilities, no hair dryer but towels and beach chairs (too low for us old folks) were provided. Umbrella would have been nice. Lots of the island things to do were within……

“This cottage was clean, convenient and comfortable for all of us! We loved being able to walk to the beach without driving and we also enjoyed the grill!”

“The property is pretty with boardwalk to the beach. Loved having all the food options for lunch, quick bite, or a drink. Pool is nice with chairs and umbrellas and you can get towels there. We checked out bikes, paddleboards, and pickle ball everyday! ”

“The pool/beach area was amazing! The poolside service was awesome. My only concern was me a senior and friend staying with me a senior were assigned a 4 th floor room with no elevator. It took almost an hour to find a space that had an elevator. Jared the security guy was so helpful. Then for check out the system evidently had an issue and tried to charge me for what I had paid for on Expedia. Loved the resort not the service or convenience ”
