The owner, Joe, has an eye for detail and it shows throughout your stay. I wanted a beach experience and that’s exactly what I got at Tarpon Tale Inn. Other than to explore (Blind Pass, Bowman Beach, Turner Beach and Captiva) the island……

“Absolutely Perfect ”

“I absolutely love what they’ve done with this place. I’ve been staying at this hotel for years, back when it was owned by other companies, and it has always felt safe and quiet. If you asked younger me, I’d say the food and bar used to be better, but I wouldn’t trade that for the massive upgrade they’ve done to the rooms. I can be a bit of a hotel snob, and this property impressed me. Everything felt spotless—no stray hairs, no lingering smells, none of that “Orlando Water Park Resort” scent I……

“The cottage was clean and updated with everything you need, toiletries, kitchen pans and utensils, a full beach cart with everything needed for the beach. I took a few naps in the sun in the hammock. The location is great, an easy block to the beach. The only thing we had difficulty with was the gas grill did not heat up sufficiently to cook burgers. It was an incredible relaxing place for a family vacation, highly recommend it”

“The Sunshine Island Inn was wonderful. They is nothing the owners overlooked when designing the room and property. We stayed in the Lighthouse room. It is a king size bed which was wonderful. The small kitchen was fully stock with anything you would need. The unit was so clean when we arrived. They is a wonderful pool which all rooms face with a sliding glass door. The also have chaise loungers, grilling area and even have pool floats at the ready. There is also a sitting area with table and……
