“This was a great place to stay. I can imagine that in the summer, folks who want to get on the river or sit around the fire pit would be so happy. We stayed when it snowed hard so we didn't do any outdoor activities. The owner was amazing. She attentive and responsive. The only issue we had was with the dogs in the neighborhood. There is a sign when one pulls onto the road that there are a bunch of dogs who live there, which isn't a problem if one isn't allergic to dogs. What we didn't expect……

“First time VRBO customer. Process for booking was easy, description of property was accurate. Communication with host was superb. Any issues we had were quickly taken care of. It was as you would expect a cabin to be: minimalistic. All flatware, cooking and BBQ utensils, pot, pan and baking sheet were provided. Pots are sized for cabins. If you intend to cook large group meals bring your own. Very close to water, kayaks & life vests available. Paddle boat available for use. ”

I loved that the property has a beautiful view on the hill but a nice flat spot of lawn for the kids to run on at the lake. We enjoyed taking the paddle boat around the island. “My group found this to be the perfect spot for a weekend get away. The deck and dock are fantastic and the hot tub was very clean. The park across the street is great for all ages. If you wanted to hit a beach there is a public park 5 minutes away with a nice one. I would recommend this property to anyone and would 100% book again!”

“Had a wonderful time. Nice small updated cottage type home neslted in woods on a hillside near the lake. We stayed in wintertime so tree leaves we gone and had a view of the lake.The properrty itself is not large, but ample enough to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub.Mike, the host, was wonderful.
