“Property and amenities were great!! Plenty of room for our family of 9. Lots of pots and pans to cook with, which for my family is wonderful, we often cook at home most. My only complaint, the downstairs mattress desperately needs replacing. I had to go sleep upstairs on the couch with my husband staying in bed. We literally rolled into the middle when sleeping together. ”

“Great base in downtown for exploring the Blowing Rock area. Kitchen updated and well stocked. Pictures are all accurate in the listing. Beds slept great. Walked to almost everything we did in town.”

“Overall it is a very good property. Good amenities with modern and upgraded kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable. However it wasnt as clean as we expected, bed and linen would smell as if it wasnt washed. Sofa bed was torn and bedhseet was soiled. Bathroom had spider web and bugs. Kitchen wasnt clean either, microwave was dirty. ”

“Listing is 100% accurate. Host provides solid, timely info. And the VIEW/Balcony (& awning) were AMAZING. Comfy bed, plenty of blankets/pillows. Really a top notch place...Clean, except for dust bunnies under the bed, and the towel situation was mediocre: only 1 hand towel and the bath "towels" were small and thin and only one each. Still 5 stars because everything else was great, and that view alone is worth the price of admission. We'll be back.”

“Location and layout was excellent.....our 2nd time staying here. However, while checking in, I noticed plungers in both bathrooms, right beside the toilets.....never a good sign but when I ended up sick with an intestinal virus, it was a nightmare. One toilet became clogged almost immediately and the sink I needed badly, would not drain. Good thing was that Tim, the host responded quickly and had a handy man to help in 20 minutes!!! A lifesaver!!! Suggestion: fix plumbing so that plungers are no……

“The Sweet Stopover was beautifully and comfortably decorated. The host had plenty of towels and bath accessories provided. The kitchen was fully stocked and she even had spices and cooking oil there along with coffee and filters. There was dish soap in the kitchen and paper towels. Very convenient!”

“In 30 years and 50 rentals, we have never stayed in a better place. Every detail has been attended to. From the view to the paper towels, this place has everything! Janeen makes sure you are well cared for. ”

“Wonderful condo with beautiful views!Easy scenic drive into Boone. Truly enjoyed our stay for a soccer tournament! Very small detail but there should be extra trash bags for the kitchen can left in the bottom or under the sink. ”

“We had a great stay! My husband son and girlfriend enjoyed the property. It was our second time in Blowing Rock and really liked being able to walk to the brewery and Main Street. Internet was solid for doing some work. Couch was really comfy and condo was decorated with a homey feel. Great cookware, appliances and everything you could possibly want.”
