“After waiting for decades to acquire our own property on Little Silver Lake, we did the next best thing by renting a place for a few nights. From finding Blue Pearl to making the reservation to checking in to, sadly leaving, this was a great experience. The property reflects exactly what I would do with an existing cottage...really, really nicely updated without sacrificing any of the charm of an "on the lake" cottage. In addition to being modern and impeccably clean, the cottage was stocked……

“Beautiful location! Super friendly and helpful hosts. Very responsive even came out to fix the hot tub for us! Loved the house and all the games and activities. Really loved the sitting area out by the fire. Only tiny negative is the basement floor must not be level (just how old houses are) cause rhe pool table isn't level. A tiny thing when you have all the other pluses!!! Would definitely stay here again! We loved that they had an old school Nintendo game for us to play!!! So much……

“Opted here over other nearby cheaper options that had sketchy reviews. Called ahead and asked about early check-in. Was told ok if a room was ready. Got there 9am and got a room! My wife worked remote. Good wifi. I went fishing. Although dated, room was clean and comfortable. Decent tv channels and everything worked as it should. Beds on the firm side but we like that. Second day room keys stopped working and they gave us housekeeping keys that worked. Pool and hot tub were nice too. Overall……

“The Depot is an amazing quaint and charming gem in the heart of Amherst. The property is newly renovated and very clean and peaceful. The owner is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. If you need to stay in Amherst this is the place to stay! Every little detail from the furnishing to the surroundings is excellent. Would highly recommend!”

“Very nice property, clean and comfortable. Great outdoor sitting area. Rooms are huge with a great kitchen setup. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Several breakfast options. This hotel is worth the few exrra dollars; we've stayed here twice, and it far better than the other hotels we have stayed at in the area. ”

“The room was spacious and overall very nice. The mini fridge didn't seem to get very cold and the pull out sofa bed was broken and slanted very sharply toward the couch. You also couldn't put it back into the couch to get it out of the way. The TV in the bedroom area would not change channels and the TV in the sitting area was very difficult to change channels. Other than that we enjoyed the pool area and the breakfast was decent. All the employees we came across were very friendly. Parking was……
