“My wife and I both loved this property. The host (Gianni) was responsive to any questions we had. Gianni's parents (Carlo & Paula) live in the adjacent main house and were extremely hospitable. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better location or host/s. We would recommend this property to anyone that wants to visit Tuscany. ”

Enrico & Simona were excellent hosts and we loved the cooking class they did for us and our 3 college students who learned to make pasta for the first time. You are close to the city of Siena with all the culture but still don’t feel it, when you are in the house. It feels like living in the countryside . “The property was beautiful and very safe. The pool was fabulous , the scenery breath taking and the hosts very friendly and welcoming people. Close to hiking trails with a pizzeria close by . A car is recommended with parking in a gated property . ”

“Villa Il Forte is the most incredible setting. It is an incredible historic and luxurious home while being comfortable, spacious and accommodating. Many different spaces to relax, connect and play. Paolo’s team were absolutely amazing. The chef Thomas is so talented while also being wonderfully personable and fun. The driver Fabrizio was so generous and thoughtful. His guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I have already booked it for next year! I can’t wait to go back! ”

“We loved our stay at this authentic farmhouse ! The family was very , very warm and welcoming and attentive to our needs / questions. If you don’t have a car ( we didn’t ) you need transport and we had a driver / tour one day . We loved the home cooked meals by Barbara and the pre- stocked groceries. It is quite bare bones - don’t expect any paper towels , any extras at all , not even those you might expect past guests have left . There is literally nothing provided so you must purchase .……

“The villa was a beautiful home to send our our time in Tuscany, Italy. We enjoyed having our own bedrooms and baths. We had a special meal cooked by a local chef, Rachel. The kitchen worked well for the cooking, and for our breakfasts. The scenery was just breathtaking, and it is just as pictures in books looked like. We very much enjoyed our stay.”

The house was in immaculate condition with all amenities for a wonderful stay. The host David was extremely responsive and professional.
