“We stayed here for a short overnight break - the welcome was warm & the accommodation was fantastic. It was very clean, comfortable & perfect for our needs. Complimentary soaps & shower gel were appreciated, as were the coffee/tea/biscuits which were good quality. The room was tastefully decorated & had a lovely calm feel to it. The bed was very comfortable & breakfast was fresh & delicious with lots of choice. Would highly recommend & we will stay here again.”

“The hotel was very calm and quiet. Room was comfortable and clean. The 415 bus to York was easy to access. A good choice available for breakfast. Evening mesls st the Fat Abbott pub were fantastic. Lovely pub with great good. Cloisters Spa was really good and i enjoyed an excellent full body swedish massage. Excellent. Relaxing 2 night stay, just what I needed. ”
