“I can't speak too highly of this hotel. The staff couldn't do too much for us, they were courteous and polite at all times. The quality and choice of food was second to none, for the lake District, it was extremely competitively priced....we will be back, soon, for another break. ”

“Mainly stayed for Keswick Convention. Walkable distance from Base Camp and Main Tent at Skiddaw Street. It's quiet and near a scenic view from a river nearby. The lawn of the Hotel brings rabbits and relaxing atmosphere to guests. Friendly staff and great self-served breakfast. A good balance of price and service. Will definitely visit again.”

“Lovely experience in Lincoln house, owners were attentive and welcoming, Rooms were clean and facilities were fantastic. Breakfast was lovely, ingredients fresh and fantastic quality. Looking forward to returning! ”

“Great for overnight stay with dog. All staff friendly and helpful. Hotel is dated and rooms could be cleaner however bed was comfortable and bar and dining area clean with great breakfast choice. Large enclosed gardens and 15 minute walk into Keswick from back of the hotel (off road country walk)”

“We had a wonderful stay. Our room was small but very comfortable with views of the hills. The tea and coffee choices are the best I've ever seen anywhere. Lorna is a lovely host and makes the best breakfast with plenty of choices. The location is approx. 15 minutes walk into Keswick and the Threkeld trail, just down the hill, make walking there better away from the traffic. We would definitely recommend Brookfield and hope to vist again. ”
