“I usually stay in this hotel for business and it's my third time - I was a bit disappointed on this occasion as my room was smaller than usual and looked quite shabby with damage to the wall. Also disappointed that they've stopped the free drink in return for no housekeeping for eco reasons which was a nice touch. Still has a lovely menu, breakfast and atmosphere however. ”

“A lovely pub & hotel with good food and very attentive staff. The room was recently refurbished and was very comfortable. The only negative was that the room was cold. I raised this with reception who said they would press the boost? The heating came on for a bit and then went off again. Again I spoke to reception (I’m not particularly fussy but my hands were actually cold) and they repeated that someone will press the boost. Not ideal on a cold night. Breakfast was lovely though.”
