“Nice hotel with good breakfast. Quiet and have a good view for our room. Need to improve hot water supply and upgrade wifi for guest rooms.”

“The only Issue we had was the lack of ales at the bar. Come Saturday evening, there was no real ale available at the hotel bar. This prevented us from eating at the hotel in the evenings. ”

“Located right on the shore of the Solent RIver and close to the CBD of Ryde, this old castle was a perfect stay and it was a pleasure to watch all the boats and ships going in and out of the Port of Southampton, as well of the coming and goings of the hovercraft nearby. Room was not huge, but a reasonable size for the two of us and comfortable. Room was in good condition and the staff were friendly and prompt. Whilst there is parking on site, it is also available to patrons of the hotel so……

“首先房間內沒有WiFi服務，現今社會，酒店沒可能沒有Wi-Fi服務，他的酒店只供應大堂，房內設施簡陋，沒有雪櫃也沒有保險箱，房間內亦沒有盒裝紙巾供客人使用，也沒有提供樽裝水給客人。 我也住過他鄰近酒店而且價錢比這更還低港幣$200一晚，但是他每天提供兩支樽裝水，第一天入到房內還有朱古力贈送，他們房間的Wi-Fi接收能力還比自己的上網卡更強，也有盒裝紙巾放在睡床旁邊！ 所以再對比一下，這間酒店的好處只是近碼頭！其他不值一提”

“Chewton Glen is a glorious hotel with fabulous, well cared for grounds. (Although the patios and tables in the Croquet rooms, could do with attention)The staff are exceptional, with every individual staff member reacting promptly, to our requests. We dined at the Kitchen on the first evening, which was superb. Unfortunately, on both mornings of our stay, our cooked breakfasts were rather disappointing. “Excellent location, parking. The room was big, comfortable bed and clean, we will be back.”

“Right in the middle of the High Street so very convenient. Parking is 5 minutes walk. A traditional pub with rooms above. Our room was very compact and overlooked the storage yard which meant that, with the window open, there was noise from moving beer barrels around. It wasn’t very noisy but is probably not great if you want an early night and you’re a light sleeper. ”

“Polite and helpful customer service. Clean and cozy. The breakfast is very good especially the fish. The only draw back is the WiFi - as it is free, its bandwidth is limited, so a bit slow and unstable.”

“Wonderful property! Beautiful bedroom - very clean - premium bedding. Delightful garden - huge with amazing wisteria which all enhanced our cream tea. Staff very helpful all over. Parking and unloading not the easiest. Breakfast was disappointing - practically cleared up buffet 20 minutes before end. Overall would absolutely recommend!”
