“Warrie Head was a wonderful surprise. The grounds are beautiful and swimming in the river is so much fun. The food is great and the rooms clean and well kept. But the hosts Debbie and Blair really make the difference. I felt like a guest in their home and can't wait to go back and visit with them. They'd always ask if I needed anything and point out the toucans, parrots, and howler monkeys. Hummingbirds were all over the flowers and feeders. The restaurant is open air and the food is……

“Beck's Bed & Breakfast is a sweet jewel of a place in a remote region of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Refuge (a birder's paradise). Robert and Becky are warm, incredibly knowledgable hosts and provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of vacation stress and more tourist dense areas. If you love birds and plants and two sweet dogs you will love staying here. They had Christmas decorations galore so we didn't miss out on the Christmas spirit. We wish we could have stayed longer. Location excellent at oceans edge, walking distance to golf cart rental, quite a few restaurants on beach and 2 doors down Beaches and Dreams scheduled tours and rides needed (Shuttles for our group of 10) Daily housekeeping including clean beach towels, laundry facilities, copious utensils and dishes, fans/ac, locked safe,……

“We didn’t like it that we had to go through the owners living quarters and we don’t do well with pets inside. We just didn’t like the dog hair and smell in the eating area. This will keep us from going back. Owner was really friendly though.”
