“We came as guests but left feeling like family. The customer service and care there is top notch. Shantel took care of my 86yr old mom for the day which allowed me a day of snorkeling. Deyri was amazing in assisting us with our stay too. Bella the Shepard dog and Steven the security guy are amazing and so kind to us. We never had a bad second with our stay and even stayed an extra night. We know we will be back to say hello. ”

“Can't say enough good things about Alux! My friend and I visited Placencia for our Birthdays and were originally booked at other accomadations. We left the other place after one night and found Alux. What a gem! It is in the heart of the village. Everything is walkable, with lots of options for food, shopping and fun. “Wish Willy Cabanas was perfect for us. It’s walking distance to the market and town. The Riverfront cabana has a narrow cement patio overlooking the river. We enjoyed mornings, drinking coffee and watching the wildlife. Julie immediately showed us around town and gave us tips about the community and where to find what we needed. She and Gary were generous with their time and helped us if we needed anything. We were very ”

“The property is beautiful with everything you need in one place. Food was delicious, drinks were great, Iz is very friendly and accomadating for whatever you need. He set us up with a beautiful beach BBQ for the birthday celebration and an awesome cake. The staff is beyond helpful and nice. Would recommend multiple excursions. “Incredible property and staff, remote location but worth the trip to disconnect for a week. We opted for the heli arrival and departure, this is a massive time savings and worth the cost to see the beautiful reef. The house and grounds were very well maintained and the staff was amazing. Many the jefe, Henry the chef and Alvin and Fredrick took such good care of us all week. We were esp impressed with the food offerings given the remote location.
