“safe quiet clean but small”

“Super clean, quick check in, comfy bed, convenient parking. Only drawback is the traffic noise. Ear plugs were on the nightstand, so managers are aware of the issue. Not sure if anything could be done to soundproof the rooms. Other than that, a very nice motel!”

So it was a surprise to us when we had to pay $10 the next day in Concord, CA. “I liked the antique vibe of the hotel, however I feel there are small details that can be improved on. We stayed in the Victorians room. The few hangers provided were old wire hangers that were bent. The small drawer in the bathroom had holes in it. The room was advertised with breakfast and there was no breakfast available. However, the bed was comfortable and the room size was bigger than average. The vanity was big enough to setup my workspace. The neighborhood had plenty of walkable shops……

“The washbasin is blocked, the washing water is full, and it is not cleaned. There is no shower gel and shampoo for bathing, only one bath towel. Too bad!”
