“Was a surprise when we arrived to how dated it was but that was the charm as thats what its about. Lovely couple who have just purchased it with great plans for the place. Great food. Will be going back again”

“Friendly staff dog friendly can have your dog in the dinning room with you etc Didn’t hear a great deal of noise from downstairs in the pub once we we in our room But Saturday night the noise in the bar was was to much especially when you were trying to eat in dining room and talk with friends. Had to go out and sit in the beer garden to get away from the noise. Good location for what we wanted Easy to check in and out etc Nice size room ”

“The 1st room we were given had a kettel with limescale in it and a bath with the enamel worn and black marks also purple marks on bath from some product that had been used previously we complained and were given another room.The 2nd room was on the 1st floor but there is no lift available as it is not being used anymore so anyone with mobility issues like my wife it will cause issues ! However there are some ground floor accessible rooms available. The radiator in our 2nd room wasn't working on……

“Large house with plenty of rooms but apart from the odd door closing the only other noise was from the Minster hourly bells . We were in room 5 with a nice view over the park. Only negative was the bed was not comfy. But all in all a reasonable stay.”

“Great place to stay with grwt facilities. Lovely spacious room and easy check in. The only thing was that the check out time was incorrect on Expedia to the actual check out time so had to get out of the room earlier than planned. ”

“這間酒店的員工服務殷勤，盡力耐心協助解決住客問題，地方舒適，自駕泊車十分方便。多謝 reception Alyse 耐心解決我的泊車要求和努力解決等的晚飯訂單事項。這裡的餐廳職員都很有禮貌、笑容和盡力提供協助，餐廳很舒適，這裡英式食物做得很好，晚餐我食了Homemade PIZZA 和 素菜意大肉丸意粉，Pizza 做得非常好吃，意大利粉十分咸，換了新一個都是十分咸，因為tomato sauce 原本已是一分咸。總括我很推薦這間酒店，再來York 都會繼續使用。”
