“This property was the best property I’ve ever stayed at. Me and my husband went for our anniversary and also took my parents for their anniversary. Everything was amazing and well thought out and so inviting and comfotable. I cannot recommend this enough!! ”

“If you're traveling in North Georgia in the spring, just assume you'll get some rain, and maybe a power outage. Somehow, that's more romantic when you're in a cozy cabin over a rushing creek. Others have mentioned that the cabin is right next to the road, but the road at that point is almost a single lane and not heavily travelled enough for it to have been a problem. Beautiful drive from town to the cabin, through a gorgeous valley. You'll enjoy it!”

“This property is spacious and just steps away from the heart of downtown Helen, and we walked everywhere on this trip. One caution...the walk into town is mostly downtown, so walking uphill back to the cabin could be problematic for guests with mobility issues. We would definitely return to Delaine's Retreat for another stay!”

“On check in day I was notified around noon that my original selection was double booked and I had to be relocated to another cabin. When we arrived, the entry code did not work so we had to call vacasa. We were given a new code that still didn’t work and ended up just getting a key from the property there. All that to say the check in experience was not good. The property was very nice and as advertised but wasn’t cleaned well. There were several dirty plates underneath clean ones with food……

“We had a great time! Very central to everything, went to Blue Ridge, Ellijay, Mcaysville, Blairsville and Dahlonega.”

“It was supposed to be a retreat with my son and my nephew and go fishing. My son had to work so my nephew and I tried to fish, but the water was too high so we watch movies and eat food. The living conditions were excellent. It was very enjoyable. I would love to come back with my wife”
