“We loved the colourful, quirky decor and the fantastic food. It's very convenient for Bingham station and Bingham is a good base for exploring the Vale of Belvoir. Very relaxing and friendly. The staff couldn't have been more helpful - really nice people. The room was really pretty and well appointed with kettle etc.”

Easy access to shops, cafe and relaxing meal/ drink in the evening sat by the canal. Initial access wasn't granted by the code given but a very quickly answered call gave us access for the stay. Thank you to Daniel - very helpful and he also checked in with us to make sure access was ok . Would use the accommodation again . ”

“this hotel is a little surprise. Doesn’t look much from the outside and not helped by being next to a disused building. However, once you enter it is a very different experience. The hotel is lovely, well maintained and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. We had a family room which was very good, though could do with some better quality bed linen. “John and Pablo were so hospitable, it made our overnight stay in their beautiful property memorable. Both our bedroom and ensuite were lovely, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Location wise, it was perfect for easy walking into Newark and we had a good evening meal at Oscar's Inn just a 3 minute walk from the property. We had a superb breakfast which was cooked to order and were offered as many refills of our teapot as we wanted. We highly recommend a stay at The Lions. Thank……

“This apartment is big and equipped with most of facilities you need. There are co-op and store in gas station nearby. Highly recommend it to those planning a family trip. ”
