“We are only 2 hours away from Rockin Star, but this was just far enough to get out of the city & enjoy the quiet & slower pace of the hill country. We enjoyed the pool each evening & it was very relaxing. Darrell Sr & Jr were super friendly & helpful with the ins & outs of the property, and Darrell Sr showed us around the property. We were just there for a weekend getaway, but it’s a great place for a family reunion or wedding. ”

I am a Texas history fan and I was truly blown away by all of the historical stuff around the house. This is a short drive from Houston. “This was an amazing cabin in a great location. The cabin was so clean and smelled and looked brand new-even though it isn’t. That says a lot to me. The owners were amazing. I mentioned that we liked to sit by the fire and have a glass of wine after a day in the fields and they had a fire going when we got back that evening. The location is great, it has everything you could need for a long weekend and the owners are top notch. They even gave us the wine opener out of their own kitchen when the……
