“Great place ”

“Great cottage for a weekend girls trip! The view was beautiful and the beach was literally 3 steps off the deck. The cottage could use a little updating but it was the perfect size for 3 of us.”

“Great little lake house with all amenities needed! The kids, dogs, and adults all had a blast! The kitchen is well stocked with anything needed to cook while there! The outdoor grill is a nice bonus on the deck as well. Plenty of seating and space to eat outdoors. Game room and living room is also quite spacious and roomy. We rented the boat and really enjoyed exploring the lake throughout the stay. Ryan was professional and attentive, making sure we were good throughout our stay. If you are……

“Lovely location! Easy access to Saugutuck and Douglas but secluded and so beautiful! We were so fortunate to be there during Sandhill crane migration (we stayed 10/23-10/27) and there were literally hundreds of cranes in the marsh by the river!! Unfortunately we were also there during duck hunting season so the peace and tranquility was a bit ruined each morning but gunshots and loud boats. The gunshots scared all the cranes away! I would definitely avoid hunting season in the future! The……

“At after several months of a critical health issue, my husband and I needed a 'get away' and this was a wonderful choice. The cottage provided everything we needed. It was clean...and cute! We were so pleased to find that we were very close to the water - just a short path and a few steps to an amazing beach. The neighborhood was quiet and we were very close to communities for good food and some extra scenery. Thanks for sharing your peaceful cottage. We will be back!”

“Before booking, we were unsure because we typically stay right on the lake. We weren't sure how much the daily commute to the beach and back would bother us but it was easy peasy with the golf cart! I'm sure it wouldn't have bothered us even without the golf cart because they do have a nice scenic trail through the woods to get there where we saw deer and turkeys. Jeannette was very helpful prior to booking and accomodating. We didn't have to reach out to her during our stay because everything……

“Super cute home! The location was great, just a quick drive to the beach and shopping area. The backyard was great, it gets a lot of shade which was perfect to sit outside during the hot days we were there. The wagon included in the shed was great for the beach since we had multiple beach chairs and drinks to haul through the sand. The issues I had were that it was me, my husband and our parents with both my mother and my FIL with knee issues and the bathtub was so high my mom couldn’t swing her……

“Stayed with wife, son, and his family. My grands first visit to Michigan. Loved the trees, the lake, the quiet . . . except for the wonderful thunderstorm! The swans on Sawn Lake were an extra! Wish we'd been able to stay longer. This was a great Fall visit. I can only imagine how wonderful a summer visit would be. ”

“We had a lovely stay at this property. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The home had everything we needed for our stay. The beach was a short walk away and the community is safe. You must try Sherman’s ice cream while there. ”
