“Rock House is a charming lake house on a large, water-front lot with beautiful views of Lake Michigan. The beach is down a bluff, where you take stairs or motorized trams, which were pretty cool. The beach is sandy and you can walk for a very long way, if interested. We had a great time and highly recommend the property.”

“This was our second stay and we once again loved it. There’s plenty of space for 2 families. The house is in walking distance to downtown where the parade and fireworks were. We love South Haven so much and can’t wait to go back! ”

“If you have a large family and want to do a quick weekend vacation this house is amazing. The pool was perfect for the kids and even us adults getting to sit on the deck. The host was so great with responses when I had a question. Aside from running short on towels this house was perfect with so much more sleeping areas and fun lofts to sleep in for the kids. Would highly recommend and would stay again!”

The front yard has a huge fire pit and we saw deer every evening, 2 minute drive to the beach and park.Large kitchen, comfortable beds, clean, two bathrooms and so quiet, we all slept well.”

“Wow! What a neighborhood. We loved Douglas, and the beach access here is just amazing. We swam in Lake MI every day. The beach was perfect for our kids (ages 7-13). There was a nice sandbar that was about 100ft from shore that our kids loved to swim to.”

“We had the best time at this gem of a house. It was clean, comfortable, fully equipped and on a very quiet street. The location couldn’t be better. It was a short walk to the beach and evening sunsets. The host was great with communication, both before and during our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough!”

“This was the perfect location for 2 couples and young kids. The weather was rainy and the basement play room kept the children entertained all morning. Enough space to spread out, and plenty of bathrooms. Listing pictures are accurate and the home was clean and we really appreciated the labels in the kitchen it made it really easy to find everything.”

“My son wanted a low key 16th birthday. Going back to South Haven after 7 years gone was the perfect gift. He and a few friends relaxed, played games provided by the property. They want to go back every year. That says a lot.”
