“Our family of 4 adults and 2 kids really enjoyed this property location, on mountain. There were some good dining options for families. The hotel offered an outdoor pool and hot tub (2) which were always full but we still were able to enjoy. Towels were nice quality as was bed linens. The issues were some of the staff -English was not their first language so if you asked for towels or replacement of coffee, soaps, etc. it was a challenge. Sometimes just giving up. “We loved Bar W lodge! We had 60 people there and about 50 spent the night. Christine and I were in contact many times before our stay she was so helpful. The lodge and especially the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook meals for a crowd. The large main living area is so spacious for meals and for playing board games and cards! It is just as described on the website! We had a great time.”

“Beautiful home. No complaints there. If you stay here in the winter you need to be careful. The roads are “plowed” but there’s still plenty of snow on them. You need good tires, four wheel drive, and possibly chains. ”

The host company was so easy to communicate with and the house itself is incredible. There is so much space and so many amenities inside the house. “Wonderful space to stay for a few days. It is a staffless location, so if there are any issues it is almost impossible for get in contact with someone. There were stains on the floor, I was unable to control the temperature, and there wasn’t a welcome packet I could refer to on how to use the keypad to lock the door. Overall, the bed was comfortable, great amenities, and good location. I also love how it is women-owned, I just wish I had some contact to reach out about some issues I experienced.……

“Fully enjoyed this and the value was awesome. Check in without human interaction was a 10/10. You feel all cool with a wall safe and great place with kitchen. Such good amenities. Will stay here again ”

Great on the inside, a bit "dormitory" looking on

"We drove by The grand American and thought it was our hotel so we got a little disappointed coz the hotel is a few cottages on the outside, not particularly appealing. But the lobby is grand and the room is spacious, as shown in the photos. We love the double sinks. "
