“We were put on the 1st floor and unfortunately there was a direct occupant above us and the sound of elephants was disconcerting. Also when I put some clothes on the rod it couldn't sustain the weight so we had to use hooks in various parts of the room Also if you are staying at the lodge you should be able to have reserved parking and not compete with visitors to the Wild Life Park ”

“If you're looking for a 'luxury' stay, this would not be it. BUT, if you're looking for clean, comfortable, and good food, this is it. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and basic. The on-site restaurant is excellent. If you do eat onsite and want a manhattan, ask Sam to make it. He's great!”

“My wife and I took one our kids (and her spouse) and three grandkids under 5 to Idlewild. This was the perfect location in relation to the park. It "lives" bigger than it looks from the outside (although we didn't use the kitchen). The furniture is worn, but nothing was broken or unsafe. And the house was very clean. Only recommendation for the host would be a clear (and maybe lit) house number. We arrived after dark, and although the GPS was spot on, its always nevous opening an unfamiliar door……

“Beautiful house in a quite forest area. House and hot tub were amazing, you can hear the stream from the bedroom windows. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.”

“This is such a cute little, mostly private, cabin. Our visit was in the beginning of spring, the trees hadn't filled in yet, so there were a few houses visible from the front.The cabin was still winterized with plastic on the windows, so when we walked in, it was a bit stuffy, but after turning on all the fans, it became comfortable.The only real issue we had, was when we went to make the bed. The sheets that were left for us were dirty with dog hair all over them. Luckily there is a washer……

“The house was plenty big to have room and spread out with different groups of people. The couches do need replaced. But overall, we had a wonderful time. Would love to come back again!”

“I enjoyed this Bed and Breakfast on a lovely street in a quiet little town. It was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The entire area is full of history and architecture. The owner of the house is so sweet, and she brings you an excellent homemade breakfast in the morning! ”
