“Stunning grounds and setting, excellent food and presentation, simply the best service from staff who went above and beyond. Only downside was I couldn't pay by Amex, the first hotel I've stayed in that doesn't accept it.”

“My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and, as an added bonus, came with a coffee machine so no terrible instant coffee in the morning. The food took what was already an excellent stay to another level at both breakfast and dinner with amazing food. The two men running things also strike the perfect balance of friendly, attentive and relaxed to make you feel welcome. When I’m next in the area I’ll definitely be staying again.”

“As a family of four with 2 teens and a big dog, it's difficult to find somewhere not over priced and a big enough space for us all. We stayed in a very spacious family room. Bathroom had a big drench shower and heated towel rail. Plenty of space for our dog's big bed! Ben and the other staff were very friendly and attentive, also accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was included and fantastic choice. We ate at the pub on the second night and the food really was fantastic and a good varied menu.……

“I loved this place. It looks like they are doing it up. Some of the areas need work, like reception etc BUT our room was lovely. Very clean. Beautiful bathroom. The bar area was really nice and there was a new deck at the back which catches the sun and an amazing large deck / balcony at the front with amazing views of Launceston. The food was delicious and the staff lovely. Would definitely stay again. ”
