“My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. “We stayed here for only two nights for my birthday, as we wanted to splurge a bit. This is a gorgeous, very well manicured 5-star resort. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a higher level room for my birthday, so that front desk staff knew how to make an impression. The room was crazy amazing fabulous. Look at their website pics as they are very accurate. Expedia includes two tours when booking, so we got a fabulous night frog tour, and a half-day personalized tour of their wildlife……

“This property was very nice. The cabins are somewhat rustic. The cabin had a wood burning fireplace. It was somewhat drafty but definitely an experience. The staff was very hard working and did a wonderful job cleaning and with the grounds. ”

“Jorge and family are very gracious hosts. I booked this place partly because I wanted to support family run business. As expected: the lodges are rather rustic: good plumbing - meaning toilet flushed fine, and shower runs, albeit I couldn't figure out how to get hot water out. “Matt went above and beyond to not only make sure we had transportation from the airport to the hotel but he set us up with transportation to where we needed to go the next day. “the hotel is very cozy, the vibe is so nice but personally I faced two problems first I really want to have a TV in my room second the breakfast style is nice in general and fixable, but the options are so limited only eggs no cheese or vegetables and for the bread only butter no jam or any type of cheese.”

“This was a great place to stay for a night after arriving from a late flight. Safe parking. Staff was very nice. Breakfast & coffee were delicious. The manager said that Expedia hasn’t been notifying them of Expedia reservations. So our room with a private bath wasn’t available, but we were able to stay in a room w a shared bath. I don’t fault the hotel for this, as they said they asked Expedia to pause all reservations until it was resolved & they are continuing to book. ”
