“This rental was perfect for our annual get-together which included daily trips to Philadelphia. The large dining room table was perfect for evening board games and beds were comfortable. The driveway is a little tricky but manageable. We only encountered very minor older house issues - a broken cabinet door in the kitchen, refrigerator outlet breaker turned off once, and a bathroom sink faucet that turned back on if you turned it all the way to the left. “This place was the cutest! Quiet valentine celebration. It snowed and we walked the substantial property enjoying white, sparkling woods. We curled up by the comfy electric fireplace and enjoyed cooked meals in the more than adequate kitchen. Bed was comfortable and the shower nice and hot. Hosts were wonderful about preparing our stay by salting the stairs and the deck to keep us safe and communication was easy and excellent. We are hoping to come back over the summer to enjoy it in the summer……

“Eleanor and Kurt's Gothic Village is a piece of preserved history of the New Hope, PA artist colony over the last century. The two rental cottages are adorable, but they ARE historic and come with some minor signs of their age (and challenges to ours). The bathroom is tiny, though serviceable, and the kitchen is only modestly equipped. But there is a two burner stove and sink and a small table for two. “The accommodations were great and matched the description. We had four adults in our party, so everyone got their own bedroom and we had plenty of room. The property was conveniently located for our Guys weekend, as we needed to be able to be close to the airport and the city. We did have a little bit of an issue with the shower handle in the upstairs bathroom, but we were still able to get it to work. That was our only issue. ”
