“Great location and stay with an amazing view of Downtown, essentially the epicenter of it all. We had a couple of minute hiccups towards the end of our stay but Danielle was able to resolve those fairly quickly. Considering I’m this was our first stay in Jacksonville, the bars been set pretty high.”

“Great communications from host.Nice and clean. Well stocked kitchen tools.The SOFTEST towels.Was attending a conference downtown and everything was easy walking distance.I’m from an urban area so used to downtown type scenario. There were unhoused people around but everyone was very nice. Didn’t feel unsafe walking around but if you are not used to being in a city center you would want to keep on your toes.Would stay again.”

“The unit was overall clean and there were some nice features like water and snacks, the building itself is a bit run down and the neighborhood felt iffy for a woman traveling alone. The unit was very hot when I arrived so I turn the temp down. When I returned after my meetings, it was 89 degrees. I had dinner meetings and couldn’t risk coming back to a blistering apartment, so I made other arrangements and left. The walls are thin and I could hear conversation and TV from neighboring unit. “I am not even sure where to begin. This is actually an apartment complex and not a condo or privately owned. We drove from VA to only find out that our reservation was supposed to be canceled earlier that day. I sent several messages before we arrived and received no response. The rental office did not know the host or anything about our reservation. I finally got a hold of the host, and she was supposed to send someone out to let us into the rental.... ten minutes later, we got a cancellation……

“I already left a review but it went unpublished! The only review published is nonsense as there is no way on this earth that it would be 10 stars. The property is old, quirky at best, and was not comfortable nor spotlessly clean. The area was scattered by groups of dossers and down-and-outs, clearly on drugs and so we did not go anywhere on foot. Self Parking was on the street and so we had to lug our golf clubs up to two separte flights of stairs each night, as we were afraid of people……

"I had a pleasant stay overall. The young front desk guy with curly hair was not only handsome but also extremely kind — truly six-star service! I wasn’t feeling well when I arrived, and he allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. The hotel was clean and comfortable, definitely worth five stars. The only downside was the service from housekeeping. Just as I entered the room and was about to shower, someone knocked loudly and impatiently on the door. Even after I said “just a second,” they kept knocking. When I opened the door, the person said something I couldn’t catch and left. Later, I called to request extra towels — it took two calls, and when they finally arrived, the staff knocked just as rudely again. Still, thanks to the great front desk service and clean room, it was a mostly good experience."
