“Property was great for what we needed. Kitchen and utensils were nice for cooking breakfast, before heading to the Tygart, Shavers Fork, and Elk rivers. Close enough to get to Elkins for supper if you want.lothistory ”

“GPS does not take you to the cabin. Use a real map or ask locally for directions. Cabin is just as it looks in the pictures. Had a nice dinner cooked on the provided charcoal grill. Plenty of towels and extra blankets were provided. Had a minor issue but help was on the way immediately. Will definitely be back again soon. ”

“My family booked the cabin for a short, 3-day rest and each day was so full. Packed with coffee in the hot tub, listening to the creek, short or long (depending on mood) walks up the stream while my husband and son fished for native trout. Enjoying meals on the grill, a roaring fire in the pit just outside and movie nights outside on the covered porch with our bodies telling when to sleep and wake. A true gem at the end of the road where life slows to let you savor! Blessed to have visited……

A charming creek runs through the land, providing the perfect soundtrack for morning coffee and evening conversations on the porch.Each night, deer would wander into the backyard, and feeding them became a magical experience that our kids absolutely loved. If you've never visited before, I recommend arriving before they close. if you can't arrive before 5pm, I recommend you confirm exact directions to where you are staying. The directions given are to the general property and the property is really big. So unless you know exactly where you are going, you will get lost. Don't be like me and make certain you know exactly where on the property you will be staying. It is worth it. ”

“this was a beautiful location! the cabin was private, and the onsite trails were nice. it was conveniently located to Monongahela National Forest, and many trails for hiking & climbing. The cabin was clean and well-kept, and it had all necessary amenities. Our family really enjoyed our stay here! ”
