“We spent one night at Salute Hotel Group (SHG Hotel Bologna) on our way back to Canada after a week in Dubai. Exhausted, hungry, and desperate to go to sleep, I did a quick hotel search on Expedia and selected SHG because it had connecting rooms and it was close to the airport and train station. SO glad I did. SHG is an old, but charming hotel with an excellent restaurant. The staff are polite, but not friendly but it didn’t bother me. “I was surprised when I arrived, driving through a small tree lined driveway to the hotel. The staff on reception were very friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. I was really pleased with my room, it was cosy and felt authentically Italian and very clean. The bed was comfortable and had good quality linen. The breakfast was self service and so much choice, it was very enjoyable, staff were very quick to replace items and clear tables, very efficient. I would definitely stay at this……
