“The room is ok clean and comfortable and easy parking, Wi-Fi good though the receptionist could of been friendlier - good place to stop over night on journey ”

“Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy”

I travel for a living and can tell you that this is rare these days. Every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly and welcoming, no pretentiousness either. Highly recommend! Only slight criticism I have is that the bar and restaurant were quite cold when we were there but that’s a matter of opinion (we do feel the cold more than……

“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”
