“We were hoping for fresh snow in January but enjoyed our weekend visit just he same / beautiful sunny weather. Cozy and well furnished cabin. ”

“We loved our time at this Tahoe City home. The host was super helpful and responsive, and even accommodated early check in/late check out for us. It was just the right amount of space for 2 young families with kids, had an amazing view of the lake and was close to ski mountains. All in all a great stay. My only note for potential renters in the winter is that the driveway is steep and can get icy. Definitely took some management and were glad we had 4WD cars.”

“You'd have to be a grinch not to love Bailey's Place. Spacious, clean, really comfy beds, sparkling river right outside. Close to Sugar Bowl, easy walk to cross-country skiing and sledding right outside the house. Very kid friendly with high chair, sleds, toys. Appreciate the chess set too!”

“We took our teens during winter for some fun in the snow. The location is great: close to downtown Truckee and all that Tahoe Donner has to offer. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. Other reviewers have mentioned that it is dated, and some of the fixtures and furnishings may be a bit dated, but everything was operational, comfortable, and this is one of the more affordably priced rentals in the area. The owner is very responsive and super helpful, too. There are lots of games to play,……

“Brought the family, including our dog, for a fun weekend away. Cabin is in an awesome location. I was a little worried about the noise from the road in front, but you can't hear it inside the house. Beautiful views across the lake. Convenient parking just behind the house for 1 car. Pretty clean. Really enjoyed our time.”
