“If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. There were so many extras included - books, binoculars, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/fresh……

“Lovely accommodating owners of the guest house. Nice room and bathroom. Area to sit downstairs and watch the TV, which was lovely. Surrounded by nice walks and a local pub. Breakfast was also nice. I cannot fault the place.”

“An excellent stay at The Poplars in Poppys lodge. Amanda was a great host and so easy to communicate with. The Poplars is in a lovely spot with countryside right on the doorstep. The lodge had everything we needed and beds were very comfy. Lovely and clean. Will definitely be back if in this part of Yorkshire again. ”
